CALCUTTA SOUP 
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. cold water
3 c. yogurt
1/2 c. light cream
1 egg, boiled & chopped
6 ice cubes
1 cucumber, chopped
1/4 c. green onions, chopped
Pepper
1 tbsp. parsley, chopped
1 tbsp. dill, chopped or 1 tsp. dill weed

Soak raisins in the hot water 5 minutes. Put yogurt in large bowl. Add cream, egg, ice cubes, cucumber, green onions and pepper. Add raisins and water. Mix. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours. Serve garnished with parsley and dill.

The combination of flavors and texture in this soup is what makes it great.
