EGGNOG 
2 egg yolks
1/4 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. rum
1/4 c. whipping cream
Fresh grated nutmeg

Beat egg yolks, sugar, and salt in top of double boiler. Add milk and mix well. Cook over hot water until mixture coats a metal spoon. Stir frequently. Chill. Add rum and stir. Fold in stiffly beaten whipped cream. Pour immediately into glasses, and top with a little grated nutmeg. Yield: 5-6 cups.
