GARBANZO WEDGES 
1 (16 oz.) can garbanzo beans, drained or buy uncooked from Health food store & prepare your own soaking overnight
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp. tamari or soy sauce
1 tbsp. tahini
2 scallions, chopped
1 c. chopped parsley or cilantro
1/4 c. wheat germ
1 tbsp. canola oil or vegetable oil

Prepare grill or skillet. In a food processor or blender, process all ingredients except oil until smooth. Form mixture into 2 large patties. Grill or cook in skillet 3-4 minutes or each side brushing with oil before turning. To make surface crusty, transfer to serving dish and cut patty into 4 wedges. Serves 4. Serve with Yogurt Sauce.

YOGURT SAUCE:

1 c. plain low-fat yogurt
1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp. tamari
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tbsp. chopped parsley, cilantro or mint

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Chill. Makes 1 cup.
