TURTLE SHELLS | |
1 pkg. corn tortillas (frozen) 1 (12 oz.) pkg. caramels 1/2 c. sweetened condensed milk 1 c. milk chocolate chips 1 c. pecan pieces Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut thawed shells into 8 pie shaped wedges. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 5 to 7 minutes or until golden. Remove, place on waxed paper. Melt caramels and milk in microwave at medium for 3 minutes. Stir and repeat for 3 minutes, stirring often. Spread caramel mix on cooled shells. Sprinkle with pecan pieces. Microwave chocolate chips on medium for 3 minutes. Stir. Repeat for 2 minutes, stirring often. Drizzle over caramel and pecans. Submitted by: Connie Potter |
