SPINACH SALAD 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. of fresh spinach, washed & trimmed
1/2 head iceberg lettuce
6 slices bacon, diced, cooked, drained
2 tbsp. sugar
Salt to taste
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. fresh onion juice
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil
1 tbsp. poppy seeds
3/4 c. sm. curd cottage cheese

Tear the spinach and lettuce into bite-size pieces. Chill

Make dressing of all ingredients from sugar through poppy seeds. Put all in a pint size jar. Shake well. Chill.

When ready to serve, pour dressing over greens, toss lightly. At least minute add diced bacon (do not dice too finely, you want to be aware of it in the salad).

Spoon the cottage cheese over the greens and give one more toss.
