MILK CHOCOLATE BROWNIES | |
1/2 c. butter 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. sifted flour 1/2 c. cocoa 1 c. flaked coconut 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 c. chopped walnuts Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Add 2 cups sugar; beat well, mix in eggs and vanilla; blend well. Sift together flour, cocoa and salt. Add to sugar mixture and mix thoroughly. Stir in coconut. Spread in greased 13" x 9" x 2" baking pan. Combine chocolate pieces, 2 tablespoons sugar and walnuts; sprinkle evenly over batter. Bake in 350 degree oven 25 minutes or until done. Cool in pan on rack. Cut into 2 1/2" x 1" bars. Makes 2 dozen. |
