2 eggs
2/3 c. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon peel
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Heat oven 400 degrees. Makes 60 cookies.

Beat eggs, oil, vanilla, lemon peel. Blend in sugar. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to sugar mixture.

Drop by teaspoon 2 inches apart. Press each cookie with glass bottom dipped in sugar (lightly oil bottom of glass first). After pressing, colored sugar, raisins, nuts or candy may be added. Bake 8-10 minutes.
