2 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. white Karo
1 c. can cream
3 c. peanuts
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. butter
Drop or so of red food coloring

Mix first 3 ingredients in a pan and cook to soft ball, stirring constantly. Add peanuts, remove from heat. Add vanilla, butter and food color. Beat until smooth and drop by spoon on greased wax paper. Let cool.
