BREAD AND BUTTER FREEZER PICKLES 
14-16 sliced cucumbers
3 c. onions
2 tbsp. salt
2 c. white vinegar
3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. turmeric
2 tbsp. powdered alum
2 tsp. celery seed

Put onions and salt over cucumbers and let stand for 3 hours. Drain cucumbers. Mix remaining ingredients and add this mixture to cucumbers. Put in jars and freeze. These are wonderful pickles.
