EASY DINNER ROLLS | |
2 pkgs. yeast 2 c. lukewarm water 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. shortening 1 egg, beaten 6 1/2 - 7 c. plain flour In large bowl mix yeast and water with 1/2 teaspoon of sugar until all of yeast is dissolved. Add rest of sugar, shortening and egg. Add flour 2 cups at a time until a ball is formed. Refrigerate 1 hour. Then form the rolls and let set out in warm place for 1 hour. Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes. |
