SOFT PRETZELS 
1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
Poppy seeds or sesame seeds

On floured cutting board, cut dough the long way into 8 strips. Cover and let rise 10 minutes. Roll each strip between hands until 1/2 inch thick and 18 inches long. Make into pretzel shapes on lightly greased cookie sheet. Brush with lukewarm water and sprinkle with poppy seed or sesame seeds. Let rise, uncovered, 15 to 20 minutes in warm draft-free place. Place shallow baking pan of water on bottom shelf of oven. Then preheat oven to 350 degrees. bake pretzels on center shelf of oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 8 pretzels.
