SUGARLESS APPLE PIE 
6 med. Red Delicious apples, peeled and sliced (about 6 c. sliced apples). Delicious apples are used because of their sweetness
6 oz. can frozen apple juice with no sugar added, thawed
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. butter

Place apples and undiluted apple juice in a large pan, bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, about 5 minutes. Dissolve cornstarch into apple mixture. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, 10 to 15 minutes or until apples begin to soften and mixture is thickened. Gently stir in cinnamon. Fill pastry shell with apples. Use 10 inch pie plate. Dot butter over top of apples; cover with top crust. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
