1 stewing chicken (3 lb. or more)
4 eggs
4 slices toast, cubed
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook chicken and remove from bones. Cut into pieces. Heat broth to boiling, add toast. Reduce heat to low. Beat eggs and stir slowly into mixture. Add salt and pepper. Cook on low until desired consistency.
