CARAMEL CORN IN A BAG
(MICROWAVE)
 
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking soda
"Takes 2 1/2 qts. popped corn"

Combine syrup, sugar, butter and salt. Cook at full power 4 minutes, stirring twice. Add vanilla and soda. Put popcorn in large grocery bag and pour mixture over popcorn. Stir well with wooden spoon to cover corn evenly. Cook at full power 1 1/2 minutes. Shake, reheat, but shake every 30 seconds and check for doneness.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
