EASY ENGLISH MUFFIN BREAD 
4 to 5 1/2 c. flour
2 pkg. dry yeast
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 c. milk
1/2 c. water
Cornmeal

Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and soda. Heat liquid until very warm (120 to 130 degrees). Add to dry mixture; beat well. Stir in enough more flour to make stiff batter. Spoon into 2 greased 8x4 inch loaf pans that have been sprinkled with cornmeal. Sprinkle top of batter with cornmeal. Let rise 45 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from pans immediately.
