DOODLE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. plain flour
2 eggs
Dash of salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained

Sift sugar, flour, soda, and salt together. Add eggs and pineapple. Mix well. Bake in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.

ICING:

1 c. sugar
2/3 stick butter
1 sm. can evaporated milk
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. coconut

Mix sugar, butter, and milk together; boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add coconut and chopped nuts. Mix well. Pour over cake while hot.
