ROOT BEER CUPCAKES 
2 c. flour
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/3 c. finely crushed root beer flavored hard candy
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. allspice
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. root beer
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs

In large bowl combine all cupcake ingredients at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Fill 18 to 20 muffin cups lined with papers 2/3 full. Bake 350, 15-20 minutes.

In small bowl fold together: 1/3 c. finely crushed root beer candy

Spread on cupcakes. Store in refrigerator.
