AUNT CORINNE DUNN'S CARAMEL
FUDGE CAKE
 
1 box brown sugar
2 sticks butter
4 eggs, separated
2 c. flour
Pinch of baking powder
1 c. chopped nuts

Melt sugar and butter together. Add nuts. Then add flour and baking powder to the mixture while hot - then beaten egg yolks. Fold in stiffly beaten whites. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cut in squares while hot and roll in powdered sugar.
