GREEN TOMATO RELISH 
1/2 gal finely chopped green tomatoes (1 c. yellow tomato)
6 red sweet peppers
2 c. onions (1 c. red or purple, 1/2 c. white, 1/2 c. yellow)
1/2 tsp. red hot pepper (to taste)
1 tbsp. plain salt
3 c. sugar
1 pt. vinegar
1 tbsp. pickling spices in cheesecloth

Mix together and boil slowly for 30 minutes. Pack in hot (pint) jars and seal.
