DEBBIES ALMOND BAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. light Karo syrup
1 c. sliced blanched almonds

Mix ingredients over medium heat. Stir constantly. Cook bubbling until mixture turns golden brown. Turn into butter layer cake pan. Let cool completely. Pull edges of pan to release backs. Store in ziplock bags.
