OLD-FASHIONED SALISBURY STEAK
WITH GRAVY
 
1- lb. lean hamburger
1/3 c. finely chopped onion
1/4 c. saltine cracker crumbs
1 egg white, slightly beaten
2 TBSP milk
1 TBSP horseradish
1/4 tsp salt, dash pepper

MUSHROOM GRAVY: 1- 12 oz jar prepared brown beef gravy; 4-oz mushrooms, sliced; 2 TBSP water.

In medium bowl, combine beef with onion, cracker crumbs, egg white, milk, horseradish, salt and pepper. Shape into 4 oval patties, 1/2 -inch thick. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat until hot. Place patties in skillet; cook 7-8 minutes or until mushrooms are tender; serve with potatoes or rice.
