MOM'S CHERRY CAKE 
1 (20 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 pkg yellow cake mix
2 sticks butter, melted
1 c flaked coconut, optional
1 cup finely chopped pecans or other nuts

Pour pie filling and pineapple in bottom of greased 9x13-inch cake pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top. Pour melted butter on top. Sprinkle with coconut and nuts.

Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes.
