EGG/BACON BAKE | |
1 lb. bacon, fried & crumbled 8 to 10 slices white bread, crusts removed 2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded 1 doz. eggs 1 c. milk Salt & pepper to taste After frying bacon, grease a 9 x 13 inch pan with oil. Arrange bread to form single layer covering bottom of pan. Next layer is bacon; then sprinkle cheese. Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over everything. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour (uncovered). Do not overcook. Serves 10 to 12. |
