NUT ROLL 
4 c. flour (sifted)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 pkg. dry yeast
5 egg yolks
Powdered sugar
3/4 tsp. baking soda

Combine flour, soda, salt and yeast. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse corn meal. Add egg yolks and sour cream to mixture; blend well.

Cut dough into 4 equal parts. Wrap each in waxed paper and chill overnight. Next day sift powdered sugar onto board. Use quite a bit, working a small amount into dough.

Cut each package of dough in half. Roll out each to paper thin (approximately 15x12 inches). Spread with nut filling mix. Roll up. Place 2 rolls on baking sheet (well greased). Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar while still warm.

FILLING:

1 lb. ground walnuts or pecans
5 egg whites
1 c. granulated sugar

Mix all ingredients together.
