1 box butter pecan cake mix
1 block butter
1 egg, beaten
1 c. nuts

Mix cake mix and butter until crumbly. Add beaten egg. Stir until well mixed. Press on bottom of 9"x13" pan. Mix:

1 box powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Pour this over cake mixture. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
