GRANDMA ANN RITA'S APPLE STRUDEL 
3 c. flour
1/2 c. warm water or more
1/2 c. tsp.
3 tbsp. oil
8 lg. cooking apples
1/2 to 1 stick melted butter
1 c. sour cream; optional
1 to 1 1/2 c. sugar
Bread crumbs
1/2 c. brown sugar

Work first 4 ingredients into a smooth dough. Cover and let stand in warm spot for 1 hour.

Peel and slice apples, roll out and stretch the dough as thin as possible on floured pastry cloth. Brush with melted butter and spread on sour cream. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Add apple slices all over the dough. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Gently roll it up and put in greased baking sheet. Brush with melted butter several times during baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
