HOT GERMAN NOODLE CASSEROLE 
2 1/2 c. uncooked egg noodles
1/3 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. vinegar
4 to 5 cooked Polish sausages
5 slices bacon, diced
1/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. water
1/2 c. chopped celery
Pinch of salt & pepper

Cook noodles; drain. In a large pan, fry bacon until crisp. Add onion and cook until tender. Add sugar, flour, salt and pepper, water and vinegar and cook until thick. Stir frequently. Add cooked noodles, celery, Polish sausages (cut into bite-size pieces) and heat. Let stand to further blend flavors.
