DILL PICKLES 
Cukes
Garlic buds
Red pepper
Alum
Dill
1 c. vinegar
9 c. water
1/2 c. salt

Pack in clean jars dill, 1 clove garlic, 1 red pepper, 1/8 tsp. alum, small cucumbers.

Cook to boiling vinegar, water, salt, pour over pickles. Top with more dill and seal, ready to eat about 10 days done 6 weeks.
