COCONUT PECAN BARS 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 can flaked coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Cream butter well, then add brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat until smooth and creamy. Add dry ingredients; mix well. Stir in coconut and pecans. Spread in buttered 15"x10"x1" jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes. Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into bars. Yield: 3 1/2 dozen bars.
