1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/3 c. butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. sour milk (add 1 tsp. vinegar to milk)
2 eggs

Line 8x6x2 inch pan with wax paper. Mix flour, butter, salt and brown sugar together until crumbly. Take out a level 1/4 cup to sprinkle over the top of coffee cake before baking.

To the remaining crumbs, add baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Mix very well. Add milk and eggs, mix thoroughly. Pour into wax paper-lined pan. Sprinkle on topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
