QUICK TOMATO PIZZA SAUCE 
1 to 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1 tsp. olive oil
1 can (8 to 10 oz.) tomato puree or tomato sauce
1/4 c. tomato paste
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dried basil
2 tsp. dried oregano
Several grindings of black pepper

Over low heat, saute garlic in olive oil until garlic is brown. Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Cook, covered, over very low heat for 15 minutes. Yield: 1 cup.
