BANANA BOATS 
4 ripe bananas
1/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. sliced, diced or chopped almonds, roasted

Slice unpeeled bananas lengthwise, spread open to form a "boat". Pop, carefully banana out. Cream together butter and brown sugar. Sprinkle 1/4 of mixture along the bottom of each banana. Put banana back in peel (boat). Add 2 tablespoons each chips and nuts to top of "boat". Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until chocolate melts. Serves 4.
