COLD WATER DILL PICKLES

1 head dill

Clean cukes
2 tbsp. coarse salt
1 tbsp. white sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
Pinch of alum
Garlic clove
Another head of dill

Fill jar with cold water. Seal. Shake jar to mix ingredients. Age 4-6 weeks.
