BEST PORTUGESE SOUP! 
1 pkg. ham hocks
1 ring Portugese sausage, sliced
6 potatoes, quartered
4 carrots, sliced
4 stalks celery, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup
2 can kidney beans, drained
2 cans tomato paste
4 cans tomato sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes
4 cubes beef bouillon
1/2 tsp. chopped garlic

Put ham hocks in large pot and cover with water. Add onions, garlic and bouillon. Bring to boil, then simmer 1 hour or longer. Remove ham hocks and take meat off bones and discard bones and fat. Chop ham and return to pot. Add sausage, stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce and paste, onion soup and vegetables.

Cook for a few hours until vegetables are semi soft. Add kidney beans 1/2 hour before serving. Delicious! Season with salt and pepper as desired.
