OLD FASHIONED TEA CAKES 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream together butter and sugar, add eggs and stir well. Add dry ingredients and vanilla. Mix until blended. Roll dough 1/4 inch thick, then cut into desired shapes. Bake at 350 degrees about 10 minutes. Makes 64 cookies.
