TANGY BEEF OR "POOR MAN'S
LASAGNA"
 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 sm. onion, chopped
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/3 c. sour cream (lowfat is good)
1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
1 pkg. very thin or thin egg noodles, cooked & drained

Brown onions and ground beef in skillet, drain off fat. Add 2 cans tomato sauce, simmer 10 minutes.

In casserole dish, layer 1/2 cooked, drained noodles; layer 1/2 tomato-beef mixture, take spoon, using back spread 1/2 sour cream; repeat with noodles., tomato-beef, sour cream. Top with cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees or 25 to 30 minutes. Let sit 5 minutes when it comes out oven
