PIROGHI LASAGNA 
1/2 lb. lasagna noodles, cooked & drained
1 lb. butter
1 lb. longhorn colby cheese, shredded
5 lbs. potatoes (Idaho)
5 med. onions, diced

Boil and mash potatoes. Add some butter (1 stick), but no milk. Mix 1/3 pound cheese into potatoes. Saute onions in 1 stick butter until soft. In 9"x13" glass pan layer in order butter, onions, noodles, mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Repeat layers with each layer running the opposite way of previous layer. Top layer should be remaining butter and onions. Cover with foil and bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot. Can be frozen before baking.
