STRAWBERRY CHANTILLY 
Pastry for 2 crust pie
Granulated sugar
1 pt. strawberries
2 c. chilled whipping cream
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Prepare pastry for 2 crust pie; divide dough into 6 equal parts. Roll each into a 7 inch circle; trim edge evenly and place on ungreased baking sheet. Prick circles thoroughly; sprinkle each with granulated sugar.

Reserve 3 strawberries for garnish; chop rest of berries. In chilled bowl, beat cream, 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar and vanilla until stiff. Fold in chopped berries. Stack circles, spreading about 3/4 cup cream mixture between each. Frost top with remaining cream mixture. Garnish with reserved berries. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
