FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
2 tbsp. strawberry Jello
4 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 tbsp. butter (optional)
1 tbsp. lemon juice (optional)
strawberries
1 deep dish pie crust, baked
whip topping

Mix cornstarch, sugar and Jello; add water. Cook until thick stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add butter and lemon juice. Cool. Put whole or sliced strawberries in baked pie crust. Pour cooled syrup over berries and top with Cool Whip or whipped cream. Refrigerate. For blueberry pie, substitute blueberries and grape jello.
