1 c. water
1 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp. white corn syrup
2 heaping tbsp. cornstarch
Red food coloring
2 tbsp. strawberry Jello
1 qt. strawberries

Add water, sugar, salt, corn syrup and cornstarch in boiler and cook until thick. Add red food coloring and 2 tablespoons Jello to hot mixture. When mixture is cool, add strawberries. Pour into 9" baked pie crust. Top with whipped cream and serve. A few more strawberries will make 2 (9") pies.
