SANDY'S STEW 
1 lb. sirloin tips or beef stew
1 medium onion
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
1 bag carrots
1 box mushrooms
1 lg. pepper
1 med. can stew tomatoes
1 med. can tomato sauce

Brown beef in frying pan. Mix beef, sliced onion, stew tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a 2 quart casserole dish and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Boil/slice carrots for 1 hour in saucepan. Slice peppers and mushrooms (don't cook). Add carrots, peppers and mushrooms to casserole dish, cook for one more hour at 350 degrees. Serve on white rice. Reheats well.
