HOT MILK CAKE 
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. lemon flavoring
1/4 lb. butter, melted in
1 c. hot milk

Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well, add flavoring, butter and hot milk. Beat for 3 minutes. Batter will be thin. Pour into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake for about 40 minutes in 350 degree oven. Cake may be iced, but is delicious plain or with confectioners sugar sprinkled on top. Yield: 15-20 servings.
