MERCER'S FROSTED ORANGE SALAD 
1 large pkg. orange jello
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. hot water
1 c. cold water
1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange concentrate juice
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drain and reserve juice
2 small cans mandarin oranges, drained

Mix orange jello, sugar, hot water, cold water and frozen orange concentrate juice well. Chill slightly, then add crushed pineapple and mandarin oranges.

Topping:

1 c. pineapple juice (that you saved)
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 egg

Beat egg in pan with whisk then add sugar and flour mixture and pineapple juice. Cook on low heat until mixture comes to a boil or gets a little thicker. When cool, fold in 1 cup Cool Whip; spread on top of jello.
