HONEY - APRICOT BREAD | |
1 c. diced dried apricots 1 1/2 c. warm water 2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1 c. honey 1/2 c. orange juice 2 tbsp. melted butter 1 slightly beaten egg 1 c. chopped pecans Soak apricots in warm water for 30 minutes. Mix dry ingredients and set aside. Mix liquids; add dry mixture, apricots and pecans, stirring until moist. Pour into greased and floured 8 inch loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick in center comes out clean. Makes 1 loaf. |
