PECAN BROWNIES 
1/2 c. Dutch process unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. nuts
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. unsalted butter or parve butter
2 c. sugar
4 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour a 9 x 13 baking pan. Sift cocoa and set aside. Sift flour and set aside. Coarsely chop nuts. In a mixing bowl cream the butter; gradually add the sugar. Beat until light and creamy. Add the cocoa; blend well. Add the eggs; beat thoroughly after each addition. Blend in flour and vanilla. Fold in nuts and chips. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake approximately 30 minutes until toothpick inserted in the brownies comes out slightly moist.
