GRITS MUFFINS 
1 c. leftover grits
1 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. shortening
1 c. milk

Mix well. Pour into well-greased muffin tins or baking cups at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Yields: 12 muffins.
