"GOOD SUMMER SALAD DINNER" 
1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
3 c. cooked, cubed chicken
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
2 tbsp. honey
3 med. nectarines, pitted and sliced (1 1/2 c.)
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1 1/2 c. dark sweet cherries, pitted and halved
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. thinly sliced green onion
1/2 c. toasted, slivered almonds
Leaf lettuce

FOR DRESSING: Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, honey, lemon juice, curry powder, ginger, and salt; set aside. In large bowl combine the cooked chicken, celery, nectarines, cherries, and green onions.

Pour dressing over chicken mixture; toss lightly to mix. Chill several hours. At serving time, add toasted almonds and toss salad. Serve in lettuce lined bowl. Serves 6.
