CRUNCHY GRANOLA | |
7 c. quick (Quaker) oats, not packed 2 c. wheat germ 1 1/2 c. sesame seeds 1 c. sunflower seeds 1 c. bran (packed) 2 tbsp. cinnamon 1 tbsp. salt 2 c. (unsweetened) coconut, optional 2 oz. sliced almonds, optional Mix together with large spoon. 1 c. honey 1/2 c. oil 1/3 c. light molasses 2 tbsp. vanilla Mix together with spoon to make 2 big cups. Stir together and bake 2 hours at 225 degrees until crisp. Use 2 large flat cookie sheets; pat even. Reverse pans every 1/2 hour. Break into pieces and store in tight, covered jar. Eat dry as a snack or with milk as cereal. |
