GRANDMA'S BISCUITS 
4 c. flour (self-rising)
1 c. lard
Buttermilk

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Blend flour and lard using hands. Pour enough buttermilk to make a soft dough. Knead with hands until workable. Pinch off and roll in your hands. Place in pan and bake until brown.
