SHEPHERD'S PIE 
Lean chopped beef
Chopped onions
Chopped green and red peppers
Stewed tomatoes
1 med. garlic clove
String beans
Mashed potatoes
1 carrot, sliced thin

Saute beef with garlic until done. Break up pieces of beef. Remove beef to baking dish. Saute onions and peppers until medium soft. Pour over beef. Add stewed tomatoes (not all the juice in can). Steam string beans al dente. Mash potatoes (boil potatoes with small onion and carrot cut small). Cover mixture and bake approximately 30-40 minutes. Dot top of potatoes with butter. Will have light brown color.
